Some hacktivists argue that their DDoS attacks are comparable to the civil-rights-era sit-ins — after all, a wall of activists blockading the doors to a “whites-only” lunch counter is a kind of denial-of-service attack.

I think they’re wrong. I grew up in the antiwar movement and participated in my first sit-in when I was 12. Sit-ins are a sort of denial of service, but that’s not why they work.

Apologies for the long hiatus, friends.  Computer troubles, financial woes and academic stress discouraged me from maintaining my web-curating here at Teleomorph.  I do love having a portal to reach out to like minds and spread important and fun links so I hope to get back into daily updates soon along with a total revamping of this site as well as some additions of original content.

I’m moving right now from Santa Cruz to Berkeley (I’ll be working on degrees there for phyto-genetics and neurobiology) so I’ve been kinda caught up with relocating and school transferring, plus I just wanted to take a break from blogging.  But I’ve got lots of cyber-goodies and info-novelty to share with you all so after I settle in and find a new job and prepare for the upcoming semester I will begin posting lots of mind-expanding and heart-inspiring links here at Teleomorph.  So keep me bookmarked or in your feeds cause Teleomorph will return within the next couple weeks!
