Honestly, I still don’t care very much for dubstep, : well… certainly not as much as I did for genres like acid, ragga techno, Goa trance, etc., but I have to share this video because these visuals by Soundless Dawn are a wonderfully woven fabric of visionary stories and fairly intense ocular candy; worthy of tripping out to. ;)

This is from a documentary film project in development called The 7th Direction, about the Australian trance-dance culture.

Very nice, recent 5 minute interview with legendary DJ and saddhu Goa Gil. Video is from the Goa Hippy Tribe project which has been working on making a documentary about the past 40 years psychedelic Goa culture.
The Minilogue/Extrawelt soundtrack to this profound video is superb and really heightens the emotional experience of the content. I played it for a friend of mine and she was letting loose the waterworks by the end.
With the help of lasers, we can begin experimenting with painting sounds and music. Awwwwesome.

The writer Brian Barritt was a lusty, Pan-like figure who sat at the heart of the counter-culture for over 50 years.
